I took our friendship for granted
And thought only death would separate us for a time.
I miss your smile and bright shining eyes,
Your listening ears and encouragement,
Sharing recipes and talking about health,
Sharing what our Heavenly Father has been showing and teaching
Knowing how I can pray for you in a relevant way.
